Introduction to the Chang Family

Yun-Sook and I have been married for 28 years. Though our marriage was arranged by our parents, we know it was God who truly brought us together and called us by His gospel. Yun-Sook first believed, and together we dedicated our lives to Him. We moved to the United States so that I could study the Bible and prepare for ministry. She has been my faithful wife and perfect partner, always a peacemaker, soother, and helper. She is a wonderful wife, mother, and servant of God.
David, our older son (27), came to the U.S. at age nine without knowing English but became the best English student in his school through hard work. He studied the Bible at Freed-Hardeman University and served with the Cumberland Trace (formerly Lehman Avenue) Church of Christ in Kentucky for four years. Now he is pursuing his dream of becoming an interior designer.
Dan, our younger son (23), married Kinsey last June. They met at Freed-Hardeman University, where Dan was a biology student and valedictorian of his class. He now works full-time and is preparing for medical school. Kinsey is finishing her last semester at FHU. Kinsey grew up in a Christian family where her father serves as an elder at the Palm Beach Lakes Church of Christ in Florida.
I thank God for my family, who have been my most faithful supporters. From a young age, my children were patient, humble, and sacrificial, serving with us in the gospel. God has called, saved, trained, and blessed our family with abundant grace, and now we believe His purpose for us is mission work in Korea. With our children now independent and supportive of this decision, Yun-Sook and I are free to go wherever He sends us.
Please pray for us as we prepare to live apart across different countries. We trust God to be the leader, protector, and provider of our children’s lives, just as He will lead us in our mission in Korea.
